How we measure
Each public number names its publisher. A missing or unfinished print stays blank. Liquid State does not fill a gap with a made-up figure.
Named sources
- LunarCrushSocial mentions, sentiment, and Galaxy Score. A request aborts after about 12 seconds. The snapshot is reused for 45 minutes.
- Farside InvestorsUS spot ETF flow tables in millions of dollars. Incomplete issuer cells are left blank.
- US TreasuryDaily par yields. Both the 10-year and the 2-year must be numbers on every session, or the month is dropped.
- CoinGeckoTotal crypto market share for Bitcoin. The request aborts after about 4 seconds if it does not answer.
- alternative.meFear and Greed index. An empty reply is left blank.
- BinanceWeekly Bitcoin closes for the cycle score. Daily closes for Pi Cycle and Mayer.
Bitcoin share of the market
Bitcoin dominance is CoinGecko's share of total crypto market value. Liquid State keeps that share only when it is a real number strictly between 0 and 100. Anything else prints as a dash. A separate six-coin share, when shown, is labelled as a share of those six coins. A zero or invalid total for that share is a dash.
Fear and Greed
The index comes from alternative.me. Liquid State prints the latest row when the reply has one. An empty or broken reply is left blank.
Treasury yields
Daily par yields are read from the live Treasury Atom feed. The live Atom feed counts a month only when, on every session, both the 10-year and the 2-year are numbers. A malformed session, including a dash or a repeated date, drops the whole month.
Spot ETF flows
Bitcoin, ether, and Solana spot ETF flows are read from Farside's public HTML tables, in millions of dollars. Bitcoin needs a printed IBIT cell, ether needs ETHA, and Solana needs BSOL. A blank cell is omitted. It is not summed and it is not filled in. If the secure page is blocked, the same table is read over plain HTTP.
Social mentions
Mentions, sentiment, social dominance, and Galaxy Score come from LunarCrush. On the Social Sentiment page, when a coin has fewer than 100 mentions, or the mention count is missing or not a number, Liquid State hides the sentiment, the social dominance, and the mention count, and shows "Not enough data yet." Galaxy Score and the 24-hour price change stay visible. That rule is the page table and chart only. An embed, the social API, and desk or community rows still print the raw figures. 100 mentions is a Liquid State display rule, not a LunarCrush statistic.
Cycle, Pi, and Mayer
The cycle score uses weekly Binance Bitcoin closes. On the cycle page, price versus the 200-week average is 45% of the score, distance from twice the 350-week average is 20%, and the 20-week average is 35%. Pi Cycle and Mayer use daily Binance Bitcoin closes. The Pi Cycle reading is the 111-day average divided by twice the 350-day average. A ratio of 1 is the crossover. The Mayer Multiple is the daily close divided by the 200-day average.
