Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Your data is yours. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

The short version

We collect the minimum we need to sign you in, run memberships, send the emails you asked for, and keep the site healthy. We do not sell your personal data. Below is exactly what we collect, why, and who helps us process it.

What we collect

  • Account data — when you create an account we use Supabase to manage authentication. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
  • Billing data — memberships and guide purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly; we receive confirmation, your subscription status, and limited billing metadata, not your full card number.
  • Email data — if you subscribe to a newsletter or receive transactional email, we use Resend to deliver it and to record delivery and engagement signals (such as opens and clicks).
  • Usage and technical data — like most sites, we log basic technical information (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location from your IP address, and device/browser type) to keep the Service running and understand what is useful. Community metrics are aggregated and anonymized.
  • Anything you send us — support messages, community posts, and information you enter into forms.

How we use it

  • to provide, secure, and improve the Service;
  • to process payments and manage your membership;
  • to send transactional messages (receipts, account and security notices) and — if you opted in — newsletters and product updates;
  • to measure how the site is used so we can make it better; and
  • to prevent abuse and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Liquid State, each under its own terms:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Supabase — authentication and database;
  • Resend — email delivery;
  • our hosting and analytics providers — to serve and measure the site; and
  • our market-data providers, where relevant to a feature you use.

We may also disclose data if we are legally required to, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Liquid State and its users.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and a limited set of analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser; blocking some may break parts of the site.

Your email choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us. Transactional messages — receipts, and account or security notices — are part of the Service and are not marketing.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it to provide the Service, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize the data we no longer need.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account, and you can email support@liquidstate.tech and we will help you exercise these rights.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique login and keep your credentials private.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

International processing

Our providers may store and process data in countries other than yours. Where they do, we rely on their safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as the business evolves and change the "last updated" date above. When changes are material, we will give clearer notice.
