Where does the balance data come from?
Bitcoin balances and transactions come from the public blockchain.info API. Ethereum balances come directly from a public Ethereum JSON-RPC node. USD values use the live Binance spot price. All sources are free and public.
Can this tool identify who owns an address?
No. It only reads what is publicly recorded on-chain — balance and transaction history for the address you enter. It cannot attach a real-world identity to an address.
