A 4-signal composite score tracking BTC perpetual futures regime. Funding rate, Donchian channel position, open interest trend, and long/short ratio — fused into a single 0–100 number for systematic traders.
A composite 0–100 score that reads the current crypto market regime for Bitcoin by fusing four perpetual-futures signals — funding rate, Donchian channel position, open-interest trend, and the long/short ratio. Higher means a more risk-on / trending-bullish regime; lower means risk-off. It is information about market conditions, not financial advice.
How is the Market Barometer calculated?
Each of the four signals is scored 0–25 from free public Binance perpetual-futures data and summed into a 0–100 composite, recomputed about every 15 minutes. Funding rate and the long/short ratio capture positioning; the Donchian position captures trend; the open-interest trend captures whether leverage is building or unwinding.
What do the Barometer regime labels mean?
81–100 = Extreme Greed, 66–80 = Trending Bullish, 46–65 = Neutral / Ranging, 26–45 = Risk-Off, and 0–25 = Extreme Caution. The labels describe how stretched and one-sided positioning is — a description of conditions, not a buy, sell, or hold signal.
Is the Market Barometer financial advice?
No. It is a market-conditions indicator built from public data, provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial advice or a recommendation to trade any asset.
