What is Multi-Timeframe Momentum Analysis?
A bullish signal on the daily chart carries more weight when confirmed by the weekly and monthly charts. Multi-timeframe analysis checks whether different timeframes are aligned — showing the same directional bias. When all four timeframes agree, systematic traders treat the signal as higher-confidence.
This dashboard shows three indicators per timeframe: RSI(14) (momentum oscillator), SMA alignment (Golden Cross = bullish trend structure, Death Cross = bearish), and Rate of Change (recent price momentum direction). The Alignment Score synthesises all signals into a single 0–100 number.
RSI uses Wilder smoothing (the standard formulation). MA structure compares SMA(50) vs SMA(200) on daily; SMA(20) vs SMA(50) on 3-day, weekly; SMA(6) vs SMA(12) on monthly. Not financial advice.
